Michel’le is ready to tell her story in the biopic Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge, & Me which will premiere on Lifetime. Michel’le is an R& B singer well-known for the song “Something In My Heart” and her 1990 hit record “No More Lies.” Well, that’s not all that Michel’le is known for.
The biopic will be based on the singer’s days with the world’s most dangerous rap group N.W.A. (Niggas With Attitudes), being signed to Eazy E’s label Ruthless Records, and romantic affairs with Dr. Dre and Suge Knight. The movie Straight Outta Compton left out Michel’le’s romantic love life with Dr.Dre and Suge Knight. Rhyon Nicole Brown from the show Lincoln Heights will play Michel’le in the movie.
Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge, & Me is made in partnership with Sony Pictures Television and Thinkfactory Media. The film will also feature actor Curtis Hamilton as Dr.Dre (Andre Young), Jamie Kennedy as N.W.A.’s former manager Jerry Heller, and R. Marcos Taylor as Suge Knight. R.Marcos Taylor also played the legendary Suge Knight in the hit movie Straight Outta Compton.
