Mr. West has decided to sign Tyga to the G.O.O.D. Music record label and Atlanta natives Migos to a management deal.
For those who don’t know, Tyga was once signed to the label Cash Money Records. He left the label after having personal issues with rapper Drake and claiming that his label boss Birdman didn’t pay him.
Kanye signing Tyga doesn’t come as a shocker to most. Tyga is dating Kylie Jenner, who is the younger sister of Kanye West’s wife, Kim Kardashian. So one can say, business and family goes hand in hand.
As far as the Migos go, Quavo was featured on Kanye West’s song “Champions” along with Yo Gotti, Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Desiigner, and Travi$ Scott. In an interview in June, Migos stated that they had recorded several songs with Kanye. However, those records have not been released yet. Sources say that the trio is still signed to Atlanta-based label Quality Control Music.
Tyga’s rep confirmed to Billboard that the rapper is indeed signed to G.O.O.D. Music.
