Kodak Black was taken into custody Thursday, Jan.18 on numerous charges including gun possession, drug possession, and grand theft of a firearm, child neglect, and probation violation, according to the Broward’s Sheriff Office records. The 20-year-old Florida native now has seven new charges against him in total.
Kodak Black was live streaming when police raided the home he was in and arrested him. In 2015, he was taken into custody for robbery, battery, three counts of false imprisonment of an adult, driving with a suspended license and the list goes on.
The rapper was sentenced to 364 days in jail after violating his probation. However, he was released 180 days before completing his entire sentence due to participating in an early release program. Kodak Black walked out of jail last June but received a year of house arrest and an additional five years of probation. Also, Kodak Black had to take an anger management class which he did complete.
Last October, he was indicted on criminal sexual conduct charges while in South Carolina. In Nov.2016, he was charged, and the December of that year, he was released from jail after posting a $100,000 bond.
Kodak Black was also recently ordered to pay $4,000 a month in child support.
Currently, he is being detained at Broward County Main Jail in Fort Lauderdale.
