According to E! News, Chris Brown was arrested Thursday, July 5.
The singer was in West Palm Beach to perform at the Coral Sky Amphitheater for his Heartbreak on a Full Moon Tour. Brown was arrested by the police who were waiting in the wings of the venue.
Breezy was booked at 11 p.m. and released almost an hour later after he posted $2,000 bail.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Brown was arrested for an outstanding out-of-country warrant from last year.
Reportedly, the entertainer was booked on a felony battery warrant from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office from an incident that occurred last spring. Allegedly, Brown punched a photographer during a paid club appearance.
Brown took to Instagram to address the situation by stating in his caption, “What’s NEW????? Show tomorrow!!!!”
Brown’s next tour date will take place at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. on July 15.
