Tekashi 6ix9ine (born Daniel Hernandez) was kidnapped, pistol-whipped and robbed on July 22, TMZ reports.

The MC was working on a music video in Brooklyn early Sunday morning, and around 4 a.m. he drove home. When he got home, another car pulled up and blocked the rapper’s driveway.

Three hooded gunmen got out of the vehicle, grabbed 6ix9ine and repeatedly pistol-whipped him until he was unconscious.

The gunmen didn’t stop there. The New York native was then put into the back seat of the car as the gunmen were driving around. They told him if they didn’t get jewelry and money from him, they would kill him.

Soon after, the gunmen pulled up to 6ix9ine’s home, and two of them went inside the rapper’s house while the third gunmen guarded the MC inside the vehicle.

His attackers stole around $750k in jewelry and between $15k and $20k in cash. 6ix9ine’s baby mother and daughter were inside the home but were not harmed.

The attackers then drove away with 6ix9ine in the back seat. At some point, he was able to open the back door of the car and jump out.

One of the gunmen chased the rapper, but got scared and returned to the car because he feared 6ix9ine would be able to identify him.

6ix9ine jumped in the passenger seat of a stranger’s car and pleaded for help. The stranger called the police and asked the rapper to get out of the vehicle at an intersection. An ambulance showed up, and 6ix9ine was taken to the hospital.

A day after he was kidnapped, robbed, and hospitalized, 6ix9ine spoke with DJ Akademiks and stated that he’s “fine.” The MC also mentioned that the incident was an “inside job.”

“It was an inside job; it wasn’t no outside n—-s. It’s n—as that know how the king of New York moves,” he said.

“The only person that can get a Pharaoh in Egypt is the person who helped build the f—in’ kingdom; you know what I’m saying? The n—a that’s right next to him. The n—a that know who built that shit, that got the blueprints,” 6ix9ine adds.

According to the MC, he suffered concussion trauma to the head after being knocked unconscious twice.

The rapper says that he’s been keeping his circle of friends tight, but that he opened it with the wrong group of people.

“My circle’s been short; it’s just that I opened it with the wrong n—-s,” 6ix9ine said.

6ix9ine says that he is happy to be alive and even compared his situation to the robbery which led to the death of XXXTentacion last month.

“I look at the X situation like, ‘That could have been me.’ That would have been the same situation if I didn’t give it up,” he said.

6ix9ine posted a photo of the late rapper via Instagram with the caption:  “As crazy as it sounds.. yesterday morning I had a feeling that it was my day to die. May GOD strike me dead if I’m lying. Everything happens for a reason. I know you was there. Nothing materialistic is more important then LIFE. I live to see another DAY. I get to see my daughter another day. No Hate Charge it to the streets.”
