It’s finally here! After several delays, Nicki Minaj has released her fourth studio album, Queen.
Her latest LP comes a week earlier than the scheduled Aug.17 release date she announced last week. Minaj made the announcement last night on the first episode of her Beats 1 radio show.
Queen features Eminem, The Weeknd, Lil Wayne, Future, Swae Lee, and more. The release date for the album had been moved at least twice.
Earlier this month she moved Queen back another week from Aug.10 to Aug.17 apparently due to a sample-clearance issue which would have put her against Ariana Grande, whose new project releases on the same day. However, Queen has arrived.
Queen is the New York native’s first album release since she dropped The Pinkprint in 2014. The Pinkprint received tons of praise from fans and became certified platinum twice by the Recording Industry Association of America.
“Barbie Tingz,” “Chun-Li,” and “Bed” featuring Grande are the three singles already released by the MC from her new album.
