Gabrielle’s Place hosted their grand opening Sunday, Oct.28 with a lunch served special with special guest Yolanda “Yo-Yo” Whitaker. Ya’ll remember Yo-Yo right? “Don’t try to play me out.”

Founded by Dawn House in 2011, Gabrielle’s Place is a non-profit organization that provides resources to families that are affected by poverty. The grand opening event’s purpose was to help raise funds to support free programs at the center.

“Right now, we’re giving away holiday food baskets and signing families up for Toys for Tots to give back to families in need,” House said.
