Following his explosive interview with Gayle King on “CBS This Morning,” Robert Kelly better known as R.Kelly was arrested for back child support on Wednesday. Last month, a family court judge told Kelly to pay up, or he will be locked up. He spent three nights in county custody.

Kelly was released this afternoon after coming up with $161,000 in back child support to his ex-wife Andrea Kelly. Sophie Ansari, a spokeswoman for the Cook County Sheriff’s Department, which operates the jail, said the money was posted Saturday morning. Ansari also mentioned she did not know who posted the payment.

Last month, the singer was charged with ten counts of aggravated sexual abuse towards four women. Three of the women were minors when the abuse allegedly occurred. The 52-year-old was taken to the same jail and pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Kelly also denied any wrongdoing and his attorney said that the singer was financially struggling. Kelly spent a weekend in jail before a 47-year-old suburban Chicago business owner posted his $100,000 bail.

Abuse allegations against Kelly resurfaced following the Surviving R.Kelly premiere on January 3. In 2002, Kelly was charged by Cook County prosecutors with child pornography that claimed Kelly made a sex tape with a 13-year-old girl. A jury acquitted him in 2008.
