Kanye West was hospitalized Monday at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles for stress and exhaustion.
The remainder of Kanye’s tour dates in North America has been canceled after a show in Sacramento when Kanye went on a rant before storming off stage.
According to sources, West’s doctor called police on Monday and Kanye agreed to go to the hospital for evaluation.
Kanye’s hospitalization came after several days of outbursts on tour.
At a concert in San Jose, Kanye announced to his fans that had he voted he would have voted for President-elect Donald Trump.
“I told y’all I didn’t vote, right? But if I would have voted, I would have voted on Trump,” he said.

In Sacramento, Kanye went on another rant about other musicians and comparing himself to Donald Trump.
“I am putting my career, my life, my public well-standing at risk when I talk to y’all like this. I’ve been sitting here to give y’all my truth even at the risk of my own life. Even at the risk of my own success, my own career. I’ve been sitting here to give y’all the truth,” said West.
West’s rants have led many to believe that he may have a mental issue. However, a source who spoke to People magazine said that West was hospitalized simply for exhaustion.
“It’s nothing like that. He’s just exhausted. He’s been working around the clock on fashion design, both on his own line and the Adidas line. He’s a notorious workaholic, so balancing both that work — which is extremely important to him — and the rigors of the tour every night, it really wore him out,” the source said.
